The popularity of podcasts is on the rise. Being able to listen to our favorite shows and episodes almost anywhere is essential, and one way to achieve this is to insert a player with the content on our website. A few months ago Apple added this facility to Apple Podcasts, so let’s see how to do it.
Find, copy code and paste, that easy
Embedding an Apple Podcasts player on the web is very easy. We will always do it from the marketing section that Apple offers us especially for podcasts, which also offers us several very interesting customization options. Let’s see the steps one by one:
- We entered the Apple Podcasts Marketing Tools website .
- In the search box we type the name of the program or episode that we want to insert.
- In the results we choose between Podcasts to insert the entire program with the latest episodes always updated or Podcast Episodes to insert a specific episode.
At this point, we have several options with which to customize the way in which we will insert the podcast. First of all, in Content Link, we will find the link in the text, ideal if we want to put it within a sentence, without inserting a player.

If what we want is just that player, we go to the Podcast Player section . Here we can customize the height, width and, by tapping on Change Option , choose between light and dark colors. Once we have chosen these variables, we simply click on Copy Embed to obtain the code that we will then paste on our website.
In addition to these options, Apple offers us three other interesting resources with which to promote our content. In Badges and Lockups, we can get the label “Listen to it on Apple Podcasts”, for which we can choose between several colors, dark, light, monochrome, etc., and the language of the text. As always, when we finish choosing, we touch Copy Embed and then paste the code.
In-App Icon we can simply get the Apple Podcasts icon. An icon that automatically takes us to the content. And, finally, in QR Code we can generate a QR code that, when scanned, opens the episode or program on our device. In this case, we can also customize the color and, if we wish, add the Apple Podcasts icon to highlight that it is on this platform where we will see the content.
The process is quite simple and, although in general, it is advisable to insert the player directly, that Apple offers us the rest of the options is also appreciated. Being able to reproduce the content of a podcast on our website is always appreciated by the visitor, but being able to scan a QR code in an Instagram photo or in a printed document is also an interesting system.
It’s clear that podcasts are here to stay, at least for a long time. True, many of us will be subscribed to our favorite content.
