Instagram launches “Live Rooms”, for live broadcasts with four people

The social network Instagram announced the launch of its new tool called “Live Rooms”, which will allow live broadcasts with more than one person.

As is known, until now, only one account could be added per live broadcast, but with this new function, which will be available to all users worldwide, it will be possible to perform live with four users.

Instagram explained that the objective of “Live Rooms” is to open up more creative opportunities, such as starting a talk show, organizing question and answer sessions, creating more interesting tutorials, among other things.

With this new tool, viewers will be able to purchase host badges and use other interactive features such as shopping and live fundraising events.

The social network assured that they are looking for more interactive tools, such as moderator controls or audio functions that will be available in the coming months.

He also pointed out that this new function was created taking into account the security of the users, that is why those people who are blocked by any of the active participants in the live room will not be able to join the live one. And, those users whose live access has been revoked due to violations will also not be able to participate.

While, for hosts, the functions that are currently in the Live will be available, such as the option to report and block comments, and apply comment filters.
